Welcome to my website! I have always had an interest in photography, however, it has just been over the last several years that I have been striving to capture the "artistic stance" of my subjects. Landscapes, flowers, and the numerous other wonders of nature are the things that I enjoy focusing on the most. Now that I have retired from the elementary classroom (31 years), I am excited about pursuing my photography adventures. My husband, best friend, and mentor, Jeffrey Brown, has had an immense influence in my life and my photography. The color makes me guess that this might have been the northern coast, even Oregon or Washington. But, no matter, this is a great ocean shot! I love the big rocks! Thank you. FV

Karen, I love ocean views and sea shots and this is perfect, the way the waves are breaking in on the beach and the white water crashing down on the out stretch jetty. Like the idea of including in the foreground the rocks, is gives the viewer a perspective of vision to follow the rocks to the beach and into the water. Great job. VOTED
