About Karen Harrison Brown

Karen Harrison Brown

Welcome to my website! I have always had an interest in photography, however, it has just been over the last several years that I have been striving to capture the "artistic stance" of my subjects. Landscapes, flowers, and the numerous other wonders of nature are the things that I enjoy focusing on the most. Now that I have retired from the elementary classroom (31 years), I am excited about pursuing my photography adventures. My husband, best friend, and mentor, Jeffrey Brown, has had an immense influence in my life and my photography. His encouragement, suggestions, and critiques (good and bad) have been very beneficial when I am working with my pictures. His words of wisdom, "Be all you can be" push me to see outside...
